That Depends…
For spirited kids who always have a comeback — and are learning when to use it.

PREORDER—Ships December 4, 2026.

Is it harder to be a kid or an adult? Is it ever okay to tell a secret? Is it harder to ask for help or to help someone?

With 54 conversation cards across School, Home & Rules, Play, Big Ideas, Feelings & Friends, Deep Thinker, and Imagine, kids get to take a side, make their case, and hear another perspective.

There are no single right answers—just lots of chances to practice flexible thinking, respectful disagreement, and realizing that sometimes, well… that depends.

The color coded categories:
🔴 School · 🟠 Home & Rules · 🟡 Play · 🟢 Big Ideas ·

🔵 Feelings & Friends · 🟣 Deep Thinker · 🌈 Imagine

Multiple Ways to Play

  • Solo Challenge — Argue both sides of one question, back to back.

    • Extra Challenge: See if you can defend each side for the full length of the timer.

  • Tabletop Talk — Draw a card, share your take, discuss.

    • Extra Challenge: Each player gets one flip of the timer to share their take before the next player responds.

  • Timed Debate — Pick a side, flip the timer, make your case. Other players can choose to challenge or add on. Starting with the first interested player to the right of the speaker, each additional player gets one flip of the timer to share.

    • Extra Challenge: Before you pick a side, flip the timer and think through both sides until it runs out.

  • Grab Bag — (5+ players) Choose a card from the bag. Share what you think and put the card back before passing the bag to the player on your right.

    • Extra Challenge: Each player has 30 seconds to make their point.

The goal isn't to win.
It's learning to think critically, disagree respectfully, and discover that the best answer to a big question is often…
that depends.

The one rule for every round: once everyone has had their say — table it! That topic is done. Practice moving on to the next one.
