Not at all! Clever and Calm was created with typical childhood experiences in mind to help adults and better understand developing skills from a child's point of view.
While children who are neurodivergent or have experienced trauma may struggle in this area more than a typical child, everyone can benefit from support with emotional awareness, flexible thinking, and respectful communication. These tools have been tested in multiple settings with children who have a vast array of needs and can be helpful for any child working on navigating big feelings or tricky social situations.

Clever and Calm tools are designed to be:
Playful and non-judgmental – Kids learn best when they’re having fun, not when they’re in trouble.
Adult-inclusive – Every resource includes an “adult information” so you know how to guide, respond, and connect.
Rooted in lived experience – Created by a neurodivergent therapist who has been both the misunderstood kid and the helping adult.
